June 2007. This is how I picked it up from pigpen's house. This thing is a pain to get on a trailer. My little girl supervising the activities
Got her in the gargage. Some surface rust on the exposed sheet metal. About5 layers of paint and primer to get it down to the bare metal.
We got it home and have been stripping the paint, rust, grime, interior, glue and anything else that not suppose to be there. Porsche 912 wheels
Almost all the camo paint gone. Sittin' next the Carlos' sick little Triumph bobber.

October 2007. More of the same. Stripping and sanding. Test fitting some 8 inch smoothies with moon disks. Didn't fit, wrong offset.

December 2007. Time to mount the Mooneyes wheel disks, They provided the dzuz style with welded tabs.
Layed it on the wheel.
Mounted tabs to jig
I put the new style disk over the top. Marked the holes and drilled them out and countersunk them. Cut out inside of disk .
Put them on the bus and......... DAM
Bent them so the disk layed flat but was in full contact with tabs and them fully welded them
Tack welded them.
Marked location with a Sharpie.

That shit looks good. End of 2007. Happy New Year !!!
